Each one of our centres have been specifically designed and purpose-built to be sustainable, child-friendly, and to align with the environment and the local community. Utilising natural building materials wherever possible and taking advantage of whatever green space we can, our centres are built with your child and their future in mind.

organisational structure

Creative Garden Early Learning Centres are proudly locally owned and operated by Mukesh and Komal who act as the Centre Directors and Licensees. We are also licensed under the Ministry of Education which entitles us to receive funding from them. All details of the expenditure of Ministry of Education funding is available on request.

Compliance with the education regulations is monitored by the Education Review Office which reviews early childhood education services and schools. They also report on and evaluate the quality of education and care for children in early childhood services. These reports are available online at www.ero.govt.nz – copies are also available at each of our centres. Alongside these reports the policies and overall management of early childhood education is something we are very passionate about and we encourage parents to contribute to the development of policies, reviews and any decisions concerning their child’s care and education.

Each centre has a dedicated Centre Manager, who parents can go-to for all communication needs. Otherwise, each room has dedicated team leaders also. To obtain a copy of the Creative Garden Operation Manual, the Licensing Criteria or ECE regulations that are available to Creative Garden families at any time, please see the Office Administrator or the Centre Manager regarding this.

staff

Creative Garden Early Learning Centre is an equal opportunities employer, committed to staffing our centres with skilled, caring, and consistent people/staff. Our centres employ fully qualified teachers, teachers in training, and some amazing support and relief staff.

Our team participate in regular professional development and are also encouraged to engage in further study. Within the centres, our adult to child ratio is regulated by the Ministry of Education and we often aim to provide a better ratio than theirs throughout
each day.

cleaning

We pride ourselves on the cleanliness of our centres and the respect that is given to our resources and the natural environment. Alongside daily cleaning of the centre itself, we also schedule regular cleaning of the resources and equipment in order to keep the spread of any infections to a minimum.

We also disinfect all surfaces frequently when any serious outbreaks occur. Our daily cleaning is completed by a qualified and experienced commercial cleaning company.

students, volunteers & visitors

From time-to-time, you will see new faces in the centre. Relief staff, volunteers and visiting students are all screened before participating in the centre and must always adhere to our policies and procedures at all times. At no time will a volunteer or visiting student be left in sole charge of a group of children.
